Advocacy

RESTART is committed to being an advocate and a leader for all survivors of “The Hidden Injury.” Founder and CEO Kevin McDonald has attended and presented at numerous events, including multiple Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania and Delaware conferences, along with various BI seminars. He continues to meet with Federal and State Congressional members to lobby for involvement and support on a national and local level, including the Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill. Additionally, he is active in the community and attends civic events to bring awareness to brain injuries.

ABOUT US:

Kevin.jpg

While trying to acquire municipal assistance for himself, Kevin found that there was minimal help available for the advanced level rehab needed for TBI survivors. As a result, he established RESTART Your Life / RENEW Your Mind in 2015 to provide assistance for survivors in with how to find the necessary resources, education, and advocacy. Funds are raised through corporate and private donations as well as various events throughout the year.
